Celebrating World Medical Device Day, Al-Rowad University dedicated the sixth day of Quality Week 2025 to a diverse program linking community service, technical mastery, and strategic benchmarks under its slogan: "Quality: Our Strategic Path Toward Accreditation."

Highlights of the Day:

Humanitarian Quality: The day began with a charitable initiative by the Nutrition & Dietetics Department to support cancer patients, reinforcing the student's role as a social leader.

Biomedical Engineering Excellence: Dr. Emad Talib (Dean of Engineering) lectured on technological evolution, followed by a live demonstration of a heart pacemaker model developed by students under the supervision of Dr. Amr Farhan.

Clinical Mastery: Dr. Amr Farhan facilitated a workshop on "Dental Equipment Performance," moving from theory to practical dental clinics. Students received hands-on training on dental units to ensure proficiency in real-world clinical environments.

The "Standards Story" Series:
In a strategic highlight, Dr. Aaida Al-Shami (Director of the Quality Center) launched the first episode of the "Standards Story" series, focusing on "Standard One: Vision, Mission, and Strategic Planning." This daily series aims to deep-dive into the nine national accreditation standards, aligning the university’s 2025-2029 Strategic Plan with the daily operations of all faculties.
