Al-Rowad University officially announces the launch of the " Al-Rowad University Journal of Humanities and Applied Sciences ", coinciding with the inauguration of the "Digital Repository for Scientific Research", in a strategic step to support rigorous publishing and the open access movement for knowledge locally and internationally.

First: Al-Rowad University Journal of Humanities and Applied Sciences

Al Rowad University Journal of Humanities and Applied Sciences (RUJHAS)

🌐 Journal Digital Portal (International OJS System): journal.rw.edu.ye

An internationally peer-reviewed academic journal published semi-annually. Its website is established according to the international Open Journal Systems (OJS). Its administration is working in the near future to complete indexing standards in major global databases such as Scopus & Web of Science, obtain the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN), and link research with Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).

1. Publication Tracks (Aims and Scope)

The journal accepts research manuscripts in both Arabic and English across two tracks:

• Applied Sciences and Technology Sector: Medical and laboratory sciences, engineering, computer science, renewable energy, emerging technologies, and all other applied specializations.


• Humanities and Social Sciences Sector: Administrative, financial, and banking sciences, arts, educational sciences, law and rights, Arabic language, Islamic studies, and others.

2. Open Access Policy and Launch Grant

The journal adopts a full Open Access policy. In celebration of its launch, researchers are completely exempt from Article Processing Charges (APCs) for a full year starting from the date of the announcement.

3. Editorial Leadership and Peer Review Ethics

Editor-in-Chief: Prof. Dr. Riyad Al-Aqab (Chairman of the Board of Trustees).

Deputy Editor-in-Chief: Prof. Dr. Ali Salam (University President).

Managing Editor: Dr. Ammar Al-Khatib (Director of the Center for Scientific Research and Community Service).

The journal comprises an editorial board, an international advisory board, and a Double-Blind peer review system with strict plagiarism checks, according to the following timeline matrix:

1. Peer Review: 14 days.


2. Author Revisions: 10 days.


3. Final Review: 7 days.


4. Final Decision (Acceptance or Rejection): 1 week.

Second: The Digital Repository for Scientific Research

🌐 Submission and Addition Portal: Alrowad University

A comprehensive central database for archiving the university's intellectual output. The Director of the Center for Scientific Research and Community Service directly supervises it and audits its outputs.

The repository serves as the exclusive accredited channel for submitting and adding research and scientific outputs; including faculty research, academic books, open courseware, and research datasets.

The Center for Scientific Research and Community Service at Al-Rowad University, along with the Editorial Board of the RUJHAS journal, is pleased to extend an open invitation to all researchers, academics, and development consultants from within and outside the university to submit their original scientific output for active participation in establishing and enriching the first issue of the journal and benefiting from the full exemption grant from publication fees.
